Snorkeling in Mexico

Cozumel, Mexico is an island off the coast of Playa del Carmen. You can either fly from the mainland and take a ferry from Playa del Carmen, or fly directly to Cozumel. We flew directly into Cozumel from the US.

We decided to try snorkeling with no boat guide or tour guide since we brought all of our own snorkeling equipment from home.

There’s a couple ship wrecks about 300 meters off the coast by a restaurant and tour called Hemmingways. They are very helpful.
